A Miracle Led Me To Chiropractic
I didn't experience a chiropractic miracle myself, but someone I love did.
I discovered chiropractic when I was on my second year of dental school. I didn't know much about it until I met a chiropractor in my church. As we became friends, he explained to me more and more about the philosophy of chiropractic and its focus on the body's ability to heal itself, and how the spine and nervous system play a major role in our health. Although it made complete sense to me, I didn't contemplate switching careers right away.
But here is the miracle...my sister Debbie had been suffering from chronic hip pain since she was a child. The pain was so severe that it prevented her from participating in sports throughout her school years. She had been to several specialists and tried different treatments, but never got relief. Finally, our chiropractor friend convinced her to give chiropractic a try. The relief she experienced in the first few visits was so amazing, that with tears in her eyes she told me "you don't understand how much this means to people like me." And that was it! I knew I had to do it. I applied to chiropractic school, was accepted, and I became a chiropractor. By the way, nowadays Debbie is a "work out freak," and gets adjusted regularly.
I am a pastor's daughter who was raised in Chile until the age of twenty. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, and obtained my Doctorate at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, where I graduated top of my class.

We love our new office here in the Rancho Carmel Shopping Center, located between Carmel Mountain Ranch and Rancho Bernardo. We served Poway for seven years and moved closer to the freeway and can now easily serve Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Poway & 4S Ranch.
